You might not recognize the taste of this red blend, but it’s special. The grapes are a well kept secret by locals and winemakers. It’s hard to describe it’s friendly and approachable but certainly stood out. We tasted a little bit of everything when we tried it: spices, earthy, black licorice, raspberry, chocolate, and more. Despite its rich color, it had a lighter body than we would have thought, which helped it go down smoothly.
In terms of pairing, this wine is food-friendly, and as versatile as it gets for a red. Whatever you have planned, this wine is along for the ride.
